Volkswagen has launched the Ameo GT Line in India.

A few weeks ago, Volkswagen also launched a facelifted version of the Polo and Vento along with a GT Line variant of the both and now Volkswagen has launched the Ameo GT Line and it is priced at Rs. 9.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). Based on the Highline Plus variant, the Ameo GT Line priced same as the Highline Plus. 

The Ameo GT Line carries most of its styling cues from the GT Line versions of the Polo and Vento such as the 16-inch Portago alloy wheels, Black ORVM, new GT Line badging on the fender, Black coloured roof and Black coloured spoiler. However, the Ameo GT Line doesn't get the new grille and bumper which is there on the new Polo and Vento.

The Ameo GT Line carries all of its equipment from the Highline Plus variant. The Ameo GT Line will be offered in a 1.5-litre diesel engine puts out 110 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque, it comes mated with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Ameo competes against the Ford Aspire, Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze.
