The Nexon EV will be the first product from the company to get the Ziptron EV technology and it is expected to have range of 250-300 km on a single charge. The Ziptron EV technology will also feature on the Altroz EV, which was unveiled earlier this year at the Geneva motor show. The new technology will also feature in the updated Tigor EV as well.

The Nexon EV is expected to be based on the facelift version of the Nexon, which gets redesigned bonnet, new LED DRLs and a new Harrier like Grille. Tata Motors has been continuously throwing the teasers of the Nexon EV and it has been testing on various terrains across the country.

Once the Nexon EV launched it will be priced between 15-17 lakhs and it will directly compete with the upcoming Mahindra XUV3OO EV, which is expected to hit the market by mid-2020.
