Maruti Alto 800 VXi+ launched, gets new features.

Maruti Suzuki has been selling the Alto model for over 15 years. Now the company has launched a new range-topping VXi+ variant for the Alto 800. It comes with a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The new Alto 800 VXi+ variant is priced at Rs. 3.80 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Besides the new variant and feature upgrades, there are no other changes have made to the vehicle. It comes powered by the same 0.8-litre, 3-cylinder, BS6 compliant engine puts out 47 BHP at 6000 RPM and 69Nm of torque, it has mated with a 5-speed gearbox. The Alto 800 has claimed fuel efficiency of 22.05 km/l.

In terms of safety, the Alto 800 VXi+ comes equipped with dual front airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with EBD, reverse parking sensors, speed alert system and seat belt reminder for both driver and co-driver.
