Maruti has revealed the sketches of the much-awaited S-Presso.
Maruti Suzuki has been officially revealed the sketches of the upcoming S-Presso model ahead of its launch on 30th September. The S-Presso will be the answer for the Renault Kwid in the small car segment.
Based on the Future-S concept from 2018 Auto Expo, the S-Presso features SUV like boxy design elements and sketches also resemble the Vitara Brezza to some extent. Like all new Maruti Suzuki product, the S-Presso will also come underpinned by the Heartect platform.
The S-Presso is likely to be powered by the 1.0-litre BS6 compliant petrol engine from the Alto K10, which churns out 67 BHP at 6000 RPM and a peak torque of 90 Nm at 3500 RPM, 5-speed manual transmission will be offered as standard along with an AMT as an option.
The S-Presso likely come with safety features such as driver-side airbag, anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution, reverse parking sensors, speed alert and seatbelt reminder. Maruti Suzuki may also give a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment with Apple Carplay and Android Auto as well.
