Honda has launched the Activa 125 BS6 in India.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has been launched the Activa 125 BS6 in India, priced at Rs. 67,490/- for the standard variant, Rs. 70,990/- for the alloy wheel variant and Rs. 74,490/- for the deluxe variant (prices are ex-showroom Delhi).
The new Activa 125 is the first bs6 compliant scooter in the country. The new Activa 125 will be available in 4 colours - Rebel Red Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Heavy Grey Metallic and Pearl Precious White.
In terms of design, the new Activa 125 comes with redesigned signature LED position lamp, full LED headlamp, chrome chest and embossed Activa 125 logo on the tail light. It also features a front glove box, external fuel lid, new digital analogue meter with a total trip, clock, ECO Indicator, Service Due Indicator, real-time fuel efficiency and distance to empty.
The new Activa 125 is comes powered by a 125cc HET BS6 engine, which also features a programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI), Idle start-stop system, new ACG for noise-free start and side-stand inhibitor. The BS6 motor puts out 8.29 PS at 6,500 RPM and 10.3 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM, which is slightly lower than the outgoing. Honda also claims 13% more mileage over the outgoing model.
Honda offers 3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty on the new Activa 125. The new Activa will go up against the Acces 125, Ntorq 125 and Honda's own Grazia 125.
