Suzuki Gixxer SF, Gixxer SF 250 has launched in India.

Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL) has launched the Gixxer SF and the Gixxer SF 250 in India. The Gixxer SF is priced at Rs.109,870/-, while the Gixxer SF 250 is priced at Rs.170,655/-  (Prices are ex-showroom Delhi).

Both motorcycles come with similar design elements, while the Gixxer SF 250 feels more muscular, thanks to the wider tyres, heavier forks and overall heavier proportion. At the front, both motorcycles get a sleek looking full LED headlamp and an LED tail light at the rear. Both motorcycles also get clip-on handlebar, twin-pot muffler,  split-seats and fully-digital instrument console. The console on the Gixxer SF gets a white backlight while, one on the Gixxer SF 250 gets blue backlight.

Powering the Gixxer SF is a 154.9 cc four-Stroke, single-Cylinder, Two-Valve, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine makes 14.1 PS at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM, it comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle gets disc brakes on both ends but, gets single-channel ABS as standard and it sticks on the road with a 100 section tyre at the front and a 140 section tyre at the rear. The Gixxer SF is available in two colours - Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Sonic Silver.

The all-new Gixxer SF 250 comes powered by a 249cc, four-Stroke, single-Cylinder, Four-Valve, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine makes 26.5 PS at 9000 RPM and 22.6 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM, it comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle gets disc brakes on both ends along with dual-channel ABS as standard and it gets a 110 section tyre at the front and a 150 section tyre at the rear. The Gixxer SF 250 is available in two colours - Metallic Matte Platinum Silver and Metallic Matte Black.

The Gixxer SF will compete against the recently launched Xtreme 200S, while the Gixxer SF 250 will compete against the Honda CBR250R, Yamaha Fazer 250 and the Bajaj Pulsar RS200.
