Royal Enfield has launched an affordable variant of the popular Classic 350.

Royal Enfield has been launched the Classic 350S in India, it is a more affordable variant of the popular Classic 350 model. The new Classic 350S is priced at Rs. 1.45 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Classic 350S costs Rs. 8000/- over the regular model. For now, the Classic 350S is only available for sale in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, however, the new model will be available rest of the country by the end of the October this year. 

The Classic 350S comes with a single-channel ABS with a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear instead of the dual-channel ABS on the regular Classic 350. Unlike the regular Classic 350, the Classic 350S comes with a single coloured fuel-tank without any rubber pad, whole engine parts and the wheel rims are now finished in Matte-Black colour.

Apart from the minor changes in the braking and the cosmetic department, the motorcycle remains unchanged. The Classic 350S is comes powered by the same 349cc, single-cylinder engine puts out 19.8 BHP at 5250 RPM and 28 Nm of torque at 4000 RPM, it is comes mated with a 5-speed gearbox. The Classic 350S is available in two colours - Pure Black and Mercury Silver.
