Tata Altroz Unveiled At 2019 Geneva Motor Show

Tata Motors has been taken the wraps off the new premium hatchback at the Geneva Motors Show.

Tata Motors has been unveiled the upcoming premium hatchback Altroz. the Altroz is based on the Impact design 2.0 styling, which is witnessed on the Harrier as well. The Altroz was first showcased at 2018 Auto Expo as the Tata 45X Concept.

The Altroz is the first model to underpin by the ALFA platform (Agile Light Flexible Advanced), it features a unique front fascia with the projector set up  LED DRLs in the double-barrel headlamp, which is mounted at the front bumper and seems closer to the headlamp cluster. The vehicle gets a dual-tone finished tail section with a sleek looking tail-light unit. The rear door handle is mounted behind the C-pillar. The vehicle sits on 16-inch machine cut alloy wheels.

The interior of the Altroz is finished in all black theme, it brings a sporty and upmarket feel to the cabin. The floating 7-inch touch-screen is placed above central a/c vents as the Nexon, while the overall layout is pretty different from any other Tata models.

The Baleno rival will be offered in both petrol and diesel powertrains, however, the company hasn’t revealed any details about the powertrains. The Altroz is expected to go on sale by mid-2019.
