Renault has launched the much-awaited Triber in India.

Renault has unveiled the Triber globally a few months ago and it has gained a lot of attention due to its styling and space. For now, the French automaker has been launched the much-awaited Triber in India, priced from Rs. 4.95 lakhs to 6.49 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), it is available in four-variants - RXE, RXL, RTX and RXZ.

The Triber comes with sleek looking exterior and interior, the Renault Triber has its own character. On the outside, the Triber features a set of projector headlamps, LED DRLs and a roof rail. On the interior, it gets a dual-tone finished cabin with an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, key-less entry, push-button start, LED instrument cluster and a removable third-row seat as well. 

The Triber comes underpinned the modified version of the CMF-A platform, which also underpins the Kwid hatchback. Available only in a petrol engine, the Triber comes powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine churns out 72 PS of power and 92 Nm of torque, for now, it is available in a 5-speed manual transmission only and Renault will introduce an AMT gearbox soon. The Triber will go up against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Ford Figo.
