Suzuki Intruder BS6 Launched, Priced At Rs. 1.20 Lakh.

BS6 Suzuki Intruder is pricier by around Rs. 13000 over the fuel-injected BS4 counterpart.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has been launched the Intruder BS6 in India at Rs. 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The BS6 Iteration of the Intruder costs Rs. 20,000 over the carburetted BS4-spec model and costs Rs. 13,000 over the fuel-injected model. It is one of the highest price hikes in the segment. Suzuki has made the same with recently launched Gixxer 155cc range as well.

The Suzuki Intruder BS6 is available in three colour options - Metallic Matte Black / Candy Sanoma Red, Glass Sparkle Black / Metallic Matte Titanium Silver and Metallic Matte Titanium Silver. 

Design of the Intruder BS6 is same as before and the entry-level cruiser motorcycle now comes with a new ignition, exhaust and ECU. The 155cc, 4-Stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine puts out 13.6 PS at 8000 RPM and 13.8Nm of torque at 6000 RPM, this engine is comes mated with a 5-speed gearbox. 

Due to the stringent emission norms, the Intruder BS6 makes marginally lesser power figures as compared to its BS4 counterpart's 14.6 PS and 13.8 Nm of torque. Apart from the new changes the new bike is also heavier by 3 kgs.
