Tata Motors to increase prices of its Passenger Vehicles from April 2019.
Tata Motors has been announced a price hike of its passenger vehicles from April, there will be an increase of Rs. 25,000. The price hike is come to play due to the rising input costs and external economic conditions. Tata Motors had already increased the prices of its products in January 2019.
According to Mr. Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, “The changing market conditions, rising input costs and various external economic factors have compelled us to consider this price increase. We are confident of maintaining our growth trajectory in the coming months on the back of our robust portfolio consisting of segment-leading products like TIAGO, HEXA, TIGOR, NEXON and the HARRIER.”
Tata Motors current portfolio includes such as Nexon, Tiago, Tigor, Hexa, Safari Storm, Zest, Bolt , Sumo Gold recently launched Harrier, most of the new products are doing well in the market. To further increase its presence in the Indian market, Tata Motors planning to launch new products as well. The Altroz and a seven-seater version of the Harrier, both will be on sale by the end of this year.
