Yamaha has launched the YZF-R15 Version 3.0 in BS6 in India.

Yamaha has launched the BS6 iteration of the FZ and FZ-S a month ago. Now the Japanese automaker has been launched the BS6 iteration of the YZF-R15 Version 3.0. Prices for the BS6 compliant YZF-R15 Version 3.0 starts from Rs. 1.45 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new YZF-R15 Version 3.0 BS6 will be available in 3 current colours – Racing Blue, Thunder Grey and Darknight, along with the Racing Blue variant standardizing blue coloured wheels. The new YZF-R15 Version 3.0 in BS6 will also sport a rear radial tyre, side stand engine cut-off switch and dual horn as a standard offering.

Due to the stricter emission norms, the new YZF-R15 Version 3.0 BS6 puts out slightly lesser power as compared to the BS4 model. The 155cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine that produces a power output of 18.6 PS at 10,000 rpm and a torque of 14.1 Nm at 8,500 rpm and it has mated with a 6-speed gearbox as before.
