Tata Motors has launched the Nexon Kraz edition in India.

Apart from the festive season across the country auto manufacturers are busy with bringing their new as well as special edition models. A few weeks ago, Tata Motors has brought a special edition of the flagship Harrier. For now, the homegrown automaker has launched a special edition of the popular Nexon sub-compact SUV, called 'Nexon Kraz Edition' and it is priced Rs. 7.57 lakhs for the petrol and Rs..8.17 lakhs for the diesel variants respectively (prices are ex-showroom Delhi).

The Kraz edition comes with over 10 cosmetic enhancement over the regular Nexon including Trosmo Black body with Sonic-silver roof, Tangerine-colored outside mirrors, Tangerine-colored front grill inserts, Tangerine wheel accents, KRAZ badging on the tailgate, Tangerine accents on the seat fabric, contrast tangerine-coloured seat-stitching, Piano Black dashboard with tangerine-coloured air-vent surrounds, Piano Black door and console finishers and Piano black steering accents.

Apart from the new cosmetic additions there no other changes have made to the vehicle. It continuously comes powered a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine and 1.5-litre Revotorque diesel engines. The petrol engine puts out 110 PS at 5000 RPM and 170 Nm of torque at 1750-4000 RPM. While the diesel mill churns out 110 PS 3750 RPM and 260 Nm of torque at 1500-2750 RPM. The new limited edition will be offered in two versions – the KRAZ (Manual) and KRAZ+ (AMT).

The Nexon will compete against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV3OO, Hyundai Venue and Honda WR-V.
