Tata Altroz to be revealed soon, launch early 2020.
Tata Motors has been delaying the launch of the upcoming premium hatchback Altroz for a while now. As per new reports, the production version of the Altroz will be revealed on the first week of December 2019 and it will go on sale by early 2020 and it will come with BS6 compliant engines from the beginning. The Altroz was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo as the Tata 45X Concept. It is based on the Impact design 2.0 design.
The Altroz is the first model to underpin by the ALFA platform (Agile Light Flexible Advanced), The Altroz features a unique front fascia with the projector headlamp on the double-barrel headlamp. The vehicle gets a dual-tone finished tail section with a sleek looking tail-light unit. The rear door handle is mounted behind the C-pillar. The vehicle sits on 16-inch machine-cut alloy wheels.
The interior of the Altroz is finished in all-black theme, it brings a sporty and upmarket feel to the cabin. The floating 7-inch touch-screen is placed above central a/c vents as the Nexon, while the overall layout is pretty different from any other Tata models. The Altroz will be as spacious as its rivals and it will be the widest vehicle among the competition.
The Baleno rival will be offered in three engine options - 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine from the Tiago with around 85 PS, 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel engines from the Nexon and the power and torque figures will be lower as compared to the Nexon.
