TVS Apache RTR 200V will be launched soon, will feature a LED headlamp.
TVS has a large list of motorcycles in the entry-level performance motorcycles. The Apache RTR 200V is the one among those, TVS has been selling the Apache RTR 200V in India for a while now, it has received an update with the slipper-clutch and new decals, a year ago.
Like other manufacturers, TVS also working to make its products to BS-6 compliant. Deadline for the shift to BS-6 emission norms is April 1, 2020. Apart from the new emission norms, TVS will also introduce an updated Apache RTR 200V with major updates. Reports suggest that the new Apache RTR 200V BS6 will feature full LED headlamp along with few other updates as well, Most of its Japanese rivals are already offers it for a while now.
Due to the BS-6 norms, TVS has to hike the prices of its products marginally due to the must addition of the Fi system as standard. The Apache RTR 200V is already available with the Fi system while it costs Rs.13000 over the carb version. With the BS6 update, prices are expected to go further higher. To justify the hike in price, TVS wants to bring the Apache RTR 200V not only with a Fi system but also in a new form with updated features.
