Suzuki has launched the Gixxer 250 in India.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd has launched the Gixxer 250 in India and it is priced at Rs. 159,800/- (ex-showroom Delhi). With proper streetfighter design, full LED headlamp and a muscular fuel tank, the Gixxer 250 clearly resembles its younger sibling.
Except for the front portion, the Gixxer 250 shares almost every part with the full fired Gixxer SF 250, which was launched a few months ago. The Gixxer 250 comes powered by a 249cc, oil-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, SOHC, SEP engine, puts out 26.5 PS at 9000 RPM and 22.6 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM, it comes mated with a 6-speed gearbox.
The Gixxer 250 is 2010 mm long, 805 mm wide and 1035 mm tall. While the seat height of the motorcycle is 800 mm and it has a kerb weight of 156kgs. The Gixxer 250 gets telescopic suspension at the front and a mono-shock at the rear while braking duties are taken care by disc brakes at both ends. Unlike the smaller Gixxer 155, the Gixxer 250 comes equipped with dual-channel ABS as standard.
