Renault has been unveiled the much awaited Triber 7-seater in India.

Renault has been unveiled the much awaited Triber in India. The sub-4 meter 7-seater vehicle will be launched in the coming months. The company claims that the Triber is the most spacious offering in the sub-4 meter segment.

The Triber gets a sleek looking design and resembles both Capture and the Kwid for some extent. The Triber also gets a chrome front grille along with projector headlamps, LED DRLs and a roof rail. On the interior, it gets a dual-tone finished cabin with a touch-screen infotainment system and an LED instrument cluster. The Vehicle also gets keyless entry and the Push Start/Stop Button, 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system comes integrated with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Push-to-Talk and Video Playback on the screen and a removable third-row seat. 

The Triber gets underpinned by a modified version of the Kwid's CMF-A platform. It comes powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine churns out 72 PS of power and 92 Nm of torque. It is available in both 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options. The Triber is expected to be priced from 5.5 lakhs and there will be no direct competition at least for now.
