Renault has released a teaser of the new Kwid facelift.

Renault India has been selling the Kwid since 2015 and it has been the best selling model for the French automaker. Apart from the tough competition, Renault is looking to launch a facelift model for the Kwid and it has been testing in the Indian roads for a while now. For now, Renault has released a teaser of the new facelifted Kwid and it is expected to be launched in the coming weeks.

The new teaser clearly shows the front side of the new Kwid and it gets a new design as well. The new Kwid features a sleek-looking LED DRLs, just like the new Harrier and the Hector the Kwid also gets a similar layout for the headlamp which is positioned below the DRLs. At the rear, the new Kwid gets an LED unit too.

The interior of the new Kwid is not visible in the teaser, however, it is expected to get minor tweaks on the interior as well. Besides all cosmetic update, the new Kwid is also expected to get a few updated features as well.

The new Kwid is expected to come with the same engines as now. Currently, the Kwid comes powered by with two petrol engine options, the 0.8-litre, 3-cylinder engine churns out 53 BHP at 5678 RPM and 72 Nm of torque at 4386 RPM, it comes paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. While the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder engine churns out 67 BHP at 5500 RPM and 91 Nm of torque at 4250 RPM, it comes mated with a 5-speed manual transmission along with an optional AMT.
