Renault India has launched the Duster facelift in India.

Renault has been launched the Duster facelift in India, priced from Rs. 7.99 lakhs to Rs. 12.50 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). This is the second time the Duster gets facelifted. The 2019 Duster available in both petrol and diesel engines and the SUV receives a bunch of new updates as well.

The 2019 Duster now gets a new headlamp cluster with LED DRLs and projector headlamps. The SUV also gets a sculpted bonnet, redesigned bumper and even a new front grille as well, the grille receives its design cues from the third generation euro-spec Duster. Apart from the new changes, the SUV also gets a new set of diamond Cut alloy wheels, roof rails, body coloured ORVMs, matte black tailgate embellisher and waterfall LED tail lamps. The SUV also offers in two new body colour options include Caspian Blue and Mahogany Brown.

On the interior, the 2019 Duster receives a Midnight Black theme along with a new steering wheel, ice blue graphic instrument cluster with a multi-information display, cruise control and a 17.64 cm touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and navigation. The new Duster also offers an ARKAMYS with 4 speakers and new two front tweeters for enhanced sound output. The new Renault Duster also comes equipped with fully automatic climate control and a cooled glovebox as well. 

The new Renault Duster is compliant with BNCAP front, side & pedestrian crash norms and is compliant with safety features stipulated by the Indian government. The SUV also gets Antilock-Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), driver and passenger airbags, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder and speed alert system as standard across all variants. The new Duster also features a Reverse Parking Camera, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Hill-Start Assist as well.

As expected, the 2019 Duster continuously powered by the same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 106 PS and a peak torque of 142 Nm, it is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT as an option. While the 1.5-litre diesel can opt from 85 PS and 200 Nm of torque or a higher 110 PS and 245 Nm of torque respectively. The powerful 110 PS variants have a 6-speed manual or an AMT transmission along with an optional AWD system, while the 85 PS variants come mated with a 5-speed manual transmission.
