Maruti Suzuki has launched the XL6 in India.
Maruti Suzuki has been launched the XL6 MPV in India. Priced at Rs. 9.79 lakhs for the Zeta Petrol and Rs. 10.36 lakhs for the Alpha variant, while the automatic options cost Rs.1.10 lakhs over the manual variants respectively (prices are ex-showroom Delhi). Based on the Ertiga, the XL6 will be sold through the NEXA dealerships.
At the front, the XL6 gets a bold looking grille with bold cross-bar design element sweeping into the head-lamps ending with the inset LED DRLs. The XL6 also gets all-black Alloy wheels, Roof rails and side claddings along with expressive side profile. While the tail section is carried from the Ertiga, but the XL6 gets a redesigned bumper along with a silver scuff plate.
On the interior, the XL6 gets all Black colour theme with a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel. The vehicle also gets a 17.8cm SmartPlay Studio touchscreen as well. Unlike the Ertiga, the XL6 comes with the captain seat layout in the 2nd row. The XL6 is available in 6 colours - NEXA Blue, Brave Khaki, Auburn Red, Magma Gray, Premium Silver and Arctic White.
The XL6 is available in a petrol engine only, the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, K15 engine puts out 103.5 BHP at 6000 RPM and 138 Nm of torque at 4400 RPM. The engine can be mated with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. In terms of safety, the XL6 comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, front seat belts with pre-tensioners and force limiters, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, high-speed warning alert, reverse parking sensors as standard.
