Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza reaches 4 lakh units sales in India

The AMT version of the Vitara Brezza has contributed 20% to overall sales among the monthly average sales of 14,675 units.

Maruti Suzuki has been announced the completion of 4 lakh unit sales of Vitara Brezza in the Indian market. The sub-compact SUV was launched back in 2016, since then it became the best selling SUV in the country and holds a 44.1% market share in the compact SUV segment.

In 2018 the Vitara Brezza received a minor facelift along with an AMT transmission. The AMT version of the Vitara Brezza has contributed 20% to overall sales among the monthly average sales of 14,675 units.

The sub-compact SUV has scored a 4 Star rating in the recent tests conducted by the Global NCAP.  It comes loaded with new safety features including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, high-speed warning alert, ISOFIX child restraint system, reverse parking sensors, and front seat belt pre-tensioners and force limiters. These features are now standard across all variants of Vitara Brezza.

The Vitara Brezza available only in a diesel engine option, the 1.3-litre DDIS engine produces 88.5 HP of power and 190 Nm of torque. The SUV compete with likes of Ford Ecosport, Tata Nexon, Honda WR-V and recently launched Mahindra XUV300.
