Maruti Suzuki Baleno has reached a new milestone in the Indian market.

Maruti Suzuki's premium hatchback Baleno celebrates its 4th year anniversary in India and it has sold over 6.5 lakh units in this period.
Launched back in 2015, the Baleno has become one of the best selling models for the company and it is the best selling premium hatchback in the country. 

The Baleno has received a facelift earlier this year and it has updated with new Idle Start Stop (ISS) and power regeneration along with new styling updates. The Baleno is also the country’s first BS6 compliant premium hatchback and sold through Maruti's Nexa dealerships. It is also the fastest premium hatchback to reach the 6-lakh milestone in the country.

For now, the Baleno is available both petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2-litre petrol engine has been already updated to meet the BS6 norms, while the 1.3-litre diesel is not being updated and it will be discontinued soon. The Baleno is priced from Rs. 5.59 lakhs and goes all the way up to Rs. 8.90 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
