Mahindra XUV3OO sub-compact SUV crossed over 26,000 bookings in just over 2 months since its launch, behind the Maruti Vitara Brezza the XUV3OO became the 2nd best-seller in India in April 2019 by dethroning the Tata Nexon. Unlike its rival, the XUV3OO is not available in an automatic variant, an AMT variant of the XUV3OO is expected this year and that might increase in sales even higher.
Among the 3 variants, the top end variant of the XUV3OO has seen the maximum demand and accounts for 70% of the overall bookings. While the petrol variant also gains a substantial share of XUV300's overall sales. However, demand for the diesel variant has seen the higher side.
The XUV3OO was launched in February 2019, available both diesel and petrol powertrains, the 1.5-litre turbo-diesel produces 115 HP and 300 Nm of torque, while the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol produces 109 HP and 200 Nm both engines are mated with a 6-speed manual transmission.
