Kia has launched the much-awaited Seltos in India.
Kia has launched the much-awaited Seltos SUV in India, It is priced from Rs. 9.69 lakhs to Rs. 15.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). based on the SPi concept from the 2018 Auto Expo, the Seltos is Kia's first product for India. The SUV comes with both diesel and petrol engine options along with a bunch of transmission options.
At the front, the Seltos gets Kia's typical 'tiger-nose' grille along with LED headlamps, DRLs and a fog lamp. At the rear too it gets LED tail-light along with muscular design elements and it also comes with 16-inch or 17-inch wheels and available in crystal cut and hyper-metallic patterns. The Kia Seltos is available in 8 single-tone and 5 dual-tone colours. In term s of dimensions, the Kia Seltos is 4315mm long, 1800mm wide and it has an overall height of 1645mm.
On the interior, the Seltos gets a 10.25 HD touchscreen with Navigation and UVO connected car feature which is compatible with both Android and iOS. It also features a 7-inch instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, smart 8.0 head-up display, ventilated and power seats, air purifier and Bose premium sound system with 8 speakers.
The Seltos is available three engine options including 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines along with 1.4-litre turbo petrol. The 1.5-litre petrol engine puts out 115 PS and 114Nm of torque and the 1.5-diesel engine makes 115 PS and 250 Nm of torque, while the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol makes 140 PS and 242 Nm of torque. All three engines come mated with a 6-speed manual transmission. The 1.5-litre petrol engine comes with an option of CVT, the 1.5-litre diesel with 6-speed torque-converter and the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol with 7-speed DCT.
The car is fitted with safety features including 6-airbags, ABS with electronic brake-force distribution, ESP, traction control, stability management, hill-start assist control or HAC, brake assist, rear and front parking camera, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, etc.
