KTM Duke 790 Launched, Priced At Rs. 8.63 Lakhs.

KTM has launched the much-awaited Duke 790 in India.

KTM has been launched the much-awaited Duke 790 in India and it is priced at Rs. 8.63 lakhs (ex-showroom). KTM has bought the Duke 790 as CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route. Bookings for the flagship Duke in India has already begun on KTM dealerships across the country. The Duke 790 will be available in two colours - Orange and Black. Deliveries for the motorcycle is expected to commence in the next few weeks.

With the split headlamp and large tank extension, the Duke 790 shows its Duke DNA and the motorcycle also features a full-colour TFT display as well. The KTM Duke 790 comes with features including electronic rider aids such as rider modes (Sport, Street, Rain, Track), engine brake control, adjustable wheelie control, an IMU-based 9-level traction control system and cornering ABS with Supermoto mode. 

At the front, the Duke 790 gets a 43 mm WP upside-down suspension and preload adjuster WP shock absorber at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of  300 mm twin-disc brake at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear along with Bosch 9MP dual-channel ABS.

The Duke 790 is comes powered by the 799cc, 2-cylinder, 4-stroke, parallel-twin engine puts out 103 BHP at 9000 RPM and 87 Nm of torque at 8000 RPM and it comes mated with a 6-speed gearbox mechanically operated anti-hopping clutch as standard.
