Jawa has launched the flagship Perak in India.
A year ago Jawa has re-entered to the Indian market and launched two new models - Jawa and Jawa Forty Two. At the same event, the company also showcased the Perak and which wasn't launched then. Now Jawa has finally launched the Perak in India and it is the first BS6 compliant motorcycle from the company.
The Jawa Perak is priced at Rs. 1.94,500/- (ex-showroom). Booking for the motorcycle will be commenced from January 2020 and the deliveries will be started from 2nd April next year after the implementation of the BS6 norm.
The Jawa Perak is the most affordable Bobber-styled motorcycle in India and gets a more powerful engine s compared to the standard Jawas. It comes powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled BS6 compliant engine and puts out 30 BHP and 31 Nm of torque which comes mated with a 6-speed gearbox.
The Perak retains its Bobber-styling and it comes equipped with dual-channel ABS with soft activation as standard. The motorcycle also comes with a redesigned swingarm, floating seat with integrated tail lamp, fatter tyres and stealth paint scheme.
