Hyundai has launched the much-awaited Grand i10 NIOS in India.

Hyundai has launched the much-awaited Grand i10 NIOS in India, it is available in both petrol and diesel engine options, the petrol engine is priced from Rs. 4.99 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 7.13 lakhs. On the other hand, the diesel engine is priced from Rs. 6.70 and goes up to Rs. 7.99 lakhs (prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

At the front, the Grand i10 NIOS gets Hyundai's signature Cascading Grille with integrated LED DRL, it also gets a new headlamp cluster with projector headlamp and Chrome surrounded projector fog lamps. The tail section of the Grand i10 NIOS gets a fresh new look with multiple detailing and a chrome line on the boot. On the side, it seems dominated with R15 Alloy wheels and it also gets Chrome finished door handles and the i10 branding on the C-pillar.

On the interior, the vehicle gets a newly designed dashboard with dual-tone treatment, new steering wheel, newly designed AC vents, new 8-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, voice recognition and Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity and a newly designed instrument cluster as well. The car also features the Arkamys sound system on the top-end variants, wireless phone charger and automatic climate control.

The Grand i10 NIOS is available in 6 single tone colours including White, Silver, Grey, Red, Blue and Teal. It is also available in  2 dual-tone colour options - Aqua Teal with Black roof and Polar White with Black roof. The Grand i10 NIOS has grown its overall dimensions, it is 3,805mm long, 1,680mm wide, 1,520mm tall and it has a wheelbase of 2,450mm. 

The Grand i10 NIOS is available in two engine options, the 1.2 Kappa VTVT Petrol engine is BS-VI compliant and put out 83 PS of power at 6,000 RPM and 113.75 Nm of torque at 4,000 RPM. The 1.2 CRDi diesel engine put out 75 PS of power at 4,000 RPM and 190 Nm of torque at 1,750 to 2,250 RPM. Both engines are comes mated with a 5-speed manual or an AMT.

In terms of safety, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gets ABS with EBD, Dual airbags, rear parking sensors, driver and passenger seatbelt reminder and pre-tensioners and speed alert system as standard. Hyundai GRAND i10 NIOS comes with 3 years or 100,000 Km of warranty and roadside assistance.
