Honda has launched the BS6 compliant SP 125 in India.
Honda has been launched the SP 125 in India, available in two variants - drum brake and disc brake. The drum brake variant is priced at Rs. 72,900/- while the disc variant is priced at Rs. 77,100/- (prices are ex-showroom Delhi). The SP 125 is available in four colours - Striking Green, Mat Axis Grey Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic and Pearl Siren Blue.
Honda claims 19 different new patent applications on the new SP 125 and the motorcycle features ACG silent starter, full LED headlamp, swing back control, CBS with equaliser, 5-step adjustable rear suspension, seal chain, and HET tubeless tyres.
The SP 125 also features a fully digital instrument cluster, which shows information including fuel efficiency details, ECO indicator, gear position indicator, service due indicator, trip, and a clock.
The new SP 125 BS6 is comes powered by a 124cc, 4-stroke, SI engine puts out 10.72 BHP at 7500 RPM and 10.9 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM, this has comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle comes with 80/100/18 tyres on both ends and it has a ground clearance of 160mm and the kerb weight is 118 kgs. Braking duties are taken care of a 130mm drum on both ends along with an optional 240mm disc at the front.
