Honda Activa 125 BS6 Unveiled, Launch in September.

Honda has unveiled its first BS-6 compliant scooter in India.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd (HMSI) has been unveiled the BS-6 compliant Activa 125 in India, it will be the first BS-6 compliant product from the company. The new Activa 125 will be launched in India by September this year. Apart from the new emission norm, all the manufacturers are busy with updating their products to make BS-6 compliant before the deadline on 1st April 2020, Honda is the first company to join the party with its popular Activa.

The Activa 125 BS-6 comes with a bunch of new features and upgrades such as an external fuel filler with dual function switch, LED headlamps, LED position lamps, 12-alloy wheels, front glove box with USB charger, pass light switch, CBS and a digital-analog meter console with a side stand indicator, distance to empty and real-time fuel efficiency.

The new Activa 125 comes powered by a 124.9cc, fuel injected engine is expected to come with slightly more power output over the current carbureted engine, which churns out 8.4 bhp at 6500 RPM and 10.54 Nm of peak torque at 5000 RPM. Once it will be launched in India, it will compete with the TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Acces 125 and the recently launched Hero Maestro Edge 125.
