Benelli India has launched the Leoncino 250 in India.
Benelli Leoncino 250 has been launched in India and it is priced at Rs. 2.50 lakhs (ex-showroom). The Leoncino 250 gets a retro scrambler design and full LED headlamp, LED indicators and tail lamp. The motorcycle gets most of its design cues from the elder sibling the Leoncino 500 which was launched a few months ago. The Leoncino 250 also gets a fully digital instrument cluster and the motorcycle is available in four colour options - white, anthracite, red and brown.
The Leoncino 250 comes powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled engine with double overhead camshaft timing system and electronic fuel injection and it churns out 25.8 PS at 9250 RPM and a torque output of 21Nm at 8000 RPM, this comes mated with a 6-speed transmission.
The motorcycle gets 41mm upside-down fork on the front, while the rear end has a swinging arm with a central mono-shock. Braking duties are taken care of a 280mm single floating disc with a four-piston calliper at the front and a 240mm disc with the single-piston floating calliper at the rear. The 17-inch aluminium alloy rims come wrapped with 110/70-R17 section tyre at the front and a 150/60-R17 tyre at the rear.
