2020 Yamaha R3 Will Be Launched On 19th December.

Yamaha all set to launch the 2020 R3 on 19th December.

Yamaha has been selling the R3 in India since 2015, although it was recalled multiple times and the motorcycle also discontinued from sales for few months in between and then it was relaunched in 2018.

The R3 has already received a facelift in the international market and it is the time for India to get the facelifted R3, it will be launched on 19th December 2019. Some dealerships have started accepting bookings for the new model as well.

The new R3 gets substantial changes in the styling department and it gets updated features too. At the front, it gets the R1 inspired design and it looks sharper than the outgoing model. Unlike the outgoing model, the new one gets full-LED headlamps with faux air intake,  large windshield, muscular fuel tank and more. The rear too looks sharper as well.

The new R3 gets a fully digital instrument cluster with backlit TFT display, which includes information like gear position indicator, engine heat level and a clock. The new R3 comes with 37 mm KYB USD forks, new clip-on handlebars and it also gets dual-channel ABS along with single disc on both ends.

The engine on the new R3 remains unchanged but the India-spec model might get slight changes due to the BS6 norms. Currently, the R3 comes powered by a 321cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that produces 41 BHP and 29.6 Nm of torque, the engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
