Triumph Speed Twin has been launched in India, Priced at Rs. 9.46 lakhs (Ex-showroom Pan India).
The Speed Twin is the latest model in Triumph's modern classic range of motorcycles, other models on the modern classic range including the Street Twin, Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Thruxton. The bike receives classic retro design along with modern features.
The Speed Twin is available in three colors: Jet Black, Korosi Red with Storm Grey and Silver Ice with Storm Grey. Except for jet black color, the other two costs an additional Rs. 30,000. Features on Speed Twin includes Ride-by-wire, ABS along with switchable traction control, Three riding modes (Road, Rain, and Sport), Torque-assist clutch, LED lighting, Feature-packed twin clocks, USB charging, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System accessory fit.
The motorcycle comes powered by a 1200cc, 8-valve, liquid-cooled, parallel twin as the Bonneville T120 and Thruxton, churns out 96 HP at 6,750 RPM and a peak torque of 112Nm @ 4,950 RPM is coming paired with a six-speed gearbox. Braking duties are taken care of 305mm twin floating discs at the front with Brembo four-piston calipers and a 220mm disc with a two-piston floating rear caliper at the rear.
