Suzuki has launched the Gixxer facelift in India.

The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer has been launched in India with a sticker price of Rs. 1,00,212/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer comes equipped with newly designed instrument cluster and distinctive front and rear combination LED headlights, the new Suzuki Gixxer also gets sleek bodywork along with tank extension looks sharper than before. It is available in three colours – Metallic Sonic Silver with Glass Sparkle Black, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Triton Blue with Glass Sparkle Black

The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer gets a telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear and moves on a 100/80 - 17- section tubeless tyre at the front and a 140/60R - 17 - Radial Tubeless tyre at the rear. The 2019 Gixxer has a Kerb weight of 140 kgs, which makes the bike 4 kgs lighter than it's fired sibling and the fuel tank capacity of 12 litres. Braking duties are taken care of disc brakes on both ends and it also gets single-channel ABS as standard.

The 2019 Gixxer costs a premium of over Rs. 11,000/- over the outgoing model. The motorcycle draw power from the same 155cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled SOHC engine with SEP technology, this time it gets the fuel injection system and puts out 14.1 PS at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer will compete against the other motorcycles in the segment such as - Yamaha FZ V3, Honda CB Hornet 160R, TVS Apache 160 4V  and Bajaj Pulsar 160NS.
