Hyundai has launched the Elantra facelift India.

Hyundai has been launched the new Elantra facelift in India and it is priced from Rs. 15.89 lakhs for the base S manual variant and goes all the way up to Rs. 20.04 lakhs for the SX(O) automatic variant (all prices are ex-showroom). Unlike before, the Elantra is only available only in a single petrol engine.

In terms of styling, the new Elantra gets a redesigned hexagonal front grille, new fog lamps along with the revised bumper, rear LED tail lamps, new dual-tone rear bumper, chrome door handles with pocket light, shark fin antenna, sporty aluminium pedals and a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, the new Elantra gets a similar layout for the dashboard while it gets a Black and Beige dual-tone colour combination. The new Elantra also features a new instrument cluster with coloured multi Information display, a new 8.0-inch touchscreen that also offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with Blue Link connectivity, tilt and telescopic steering, cruise control, 10-way adjustable power driver seat with electric lumbar support, dual-zone FATC with cluster Ionize, rear AC vents, premium aluminium scuff plates, wireless phone charger, front ventilated seats and the new premium Infinity sound system with door speakers, centre speaker, tweeters, amplifier and sub-woofer.

In terms of safety, the new Elantra gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, seatbelt reminder, rear parking sensors, speed sensing auto door lock and impact sensing auto door unlock, hill assist control, electronic stability control and vehicle stability management. It also features a tyre pressure monitoring system, inside rearview mirror with telematics switches, front and rear parking sensors with rear camera and front and rear disc brakes.

As mentioned earlier, the new Elantra is only available in a 2.0-litre BS6 compliant engine, which churns out 152 BHP and 192 Nm of torque and it comes mated with a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission and it comes with ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 14.6 km per litre. The new Elantra is available in six colours - Marina Blue, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black and Fiery Red.
