2019 Datsun Redi-GO has launched in India, comes with safety updates.

Datsun has been launched the 2019 Redi-GO in India. Prices for the new Redi-GO starts from Rs. 2.79 lakhs and goes all the way up to Rs. 4.37 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The base variant of the new Redi-GO costs Rs. 12,000 over the earlier model, while the top-spec model costs only Rs. 4000. The Redi-GO is available 5 colours - Ruby Red, Silver, Grey, Lime Green and White.

Same as the older one, the 2019 Datsun Redi-GO is available in both 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre engines, while the new gets enhanced safety features such as  ABS with EBD, driver airbag, rear parking assist sensor, high-speed warning and seat belt reminder. 

The 0.8-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine puts out 54PS of power and 68Nm of torque and it only comes mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine puts out 72PS of power and 91Nm of torque, it is comes mated with a5-speed manual or an optional AMT transmission.

In India, the Datsun Redi-Go will go up against the likes of the Renault Kwid and Alto Series.
